Frimley Vasectomy Service
Frimley Vasectomy Service.
What is a Vasectomy?
Vasectomy is a quick, safe, and effective method of male sterilisation. Sterilisation is a permanent method of contraception, suitable for people who are sure they never want children or do not want more children. It involves a small surgical procedure. A small portion of the tubes (vasa), which carry sperm
from the testicles to the penis, are removed and the ends of the tubes are sealed which in turn means the semen contains no sperm and cannot therefore fertilise the egg.
