We have three highly skilled Nurse Practitioners that work at the practice who can deal with a variety of minor ailments.
Physician associates are trained health professionals who provide crucial support to doctors and have regular direct contact with patients
Physician associates work under the direct supervision of a doctor and carry out many similar tasks, including the examination, diagnosis, management and care of patients.
We have Five Practice Nurses who hold morning and afternoon surgeries, Monday to Friday. Their roles include: General Nursing Care, Immunisations, New Patient Health Checks, Health Education, Patient Advice, Female Health Care, Travel Clinics and assisting with our Diabetic, Respiratory and Minor Surgery clinics.
Clinical Pharmacists are trained healthcare professionals who provide a wide range of services including: medicine reviews to check you are taking your medicines correctly; long term condition management; support for staying well; medication reviews, and much more.
Our Team of five Healthcare assistants can take bloods, ABPM 24 Hour BP, Phlebotomy, ECG, and NHS Health Checks, NPHC (New patient health check), Minor Stitch Removal and Ear Syringing.

The Administration Team
The Administration and Secretarial team provide a wide range of support services including referrals to hospitals and community service.
The Reception Team
Here at The Cambridge Practice we have 21 Receptionists who are always here to help you, but at times the surgery and telephone lines are very busy.
Please be patient with us as we all try to deal with your requests for appointments, emergencies, results and all other enquiries.
When speaking to our Receptionists you will be asked for information about your condition, so they can effectively navigate you to the correct place – this could be a same day appointment, a pre-booked appointment, a telephone appointment or a pharmacy/other health care provider.
Medication Clerk Team
The Medication clerks are a vital life line with in the practice they process and liaise with pharmacies and patients on all medication queries.
