What is Accurx online patient triage?
Accurx provides communications software to healthcare providers across the NHS. Accurx Online Patient Triage is an online consultation service recognised by the NHS. Read more information here (Link opens in a new browser tab)

Getting Started
The Patient Triage solution allows you to submit either a medical query or an administrative request to The Cambridge Practice.

Please note! If your medical query is urgent then call the practice. If the practice is closed, contact 111 or for a medical emergency call 999.

When accessing the Accurx online patient triage link, you will see the name and address of the practice, a standard warning message indicating the expected duration for your query to be responded to, and information on what to do if your query is a medical emergency.

Some of the features this app can offer include the ability to book appointments online, check your symptoms and order repeat medication, all without coming in or calling the surgery. All you need is any smart phone, (you will need a photo I.D to sign up).

Who is it suitable for?

The NHS App is for people aged 13 and over who are registered with a connected GP surgery.
You can use some of the app’s features without your GP surgery being connected.

With the NHS App you can:

  • Check your symptoms – find reliable NHS information on hundreds of conditions and treatments, and get immediate advice
  • Book appointments – search for, book and cancel appointments at your GP surgery
  • Order repeat prescriptions – see your available medications and request a new repeat prescription
  • View your medical record – get secure access to your GP medical record (to access this part of the app a form needs to be completed in surgery)
